The students' chapter of The Institution of Engineers (India) was inaugurated in Civil Department, Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College Bidar. The chapter is affiliated to Karnataka Local Centre and Gulbarga local chapter. 67 students are enrolled as student members in the Students' Chapter
Students Chapter of The Institution of Engineers (India) (IEI) was inaugurated On September 23, 2016 and has started functioning. 67 B.E. students belonging to civil engineering department have enrolled as student members. Dr. Shashikanth Mise, Prof.PDACE and Former chairman of IEI Gulbarga local chapter inaugurated the IEI student's chapter.
